Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Stefanie Roy
Here is a bit about me:
I started my teaching career after graduating from McKendree University in 1998. After a year of substitute teaching in District 90 I was hired as a 1st grade teacher at Evans Elementary School. I taught 1st grade for 10 years here at Evans. After that I moved on to 2nd grade where I taught for the next 5 years. In the Fall of 2014 I excitedly took a new position as a Kindergarten teacher at Evans. I love teaching Kindergarten! I also returned to school and earned my Masters Degree in Education from Lindenwood University. I enjoy the world of education. It is an exciting and ever changing career that brings great rewards.
I am married and have a son and daughter. Our son is in high school and our daughter is in college. I have lived in the Metro-East for 27 years now. In my free time I enjoy watching my children perform with their school marching bands. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, going for walks, and just spending time with my family.
