BONUS POINT opportunity:
Each quarter students will be able to select from a list of volunteer opportunities to earn bonus points in my class.
1st Quarter Community Service options:
Option A: Attend a School Board Meeting. Upcoming dates are Sept 19 & Oct 15 at 7pm at the district office.
Option B: Food Drive. Donate 5 or more items.
Option C: Volunteer to help O'Fallon's Garden Club on Oct 14 or Oct 19 from 9am to noon. Students must let Mrs. Stutzman know in advance.
2nd Quarter Committee of Correspondence:
Meetings will be held during lunch. Watch for information on my class board if you are interested in sharing your opinion regarding school rules, procedures, and policies.
3rd Quarter Junior Achievement:
Meetings will be held during lunch. Watch for information on my class board if you are interested in participating and learning how the world of economics works. Students must attend at least 6 meetings to be selected for the all-day hands-on JA Workshop in Chesterfield, MO.
4th Quarter Illinois & U.S. Constitution:
We will study the Illinois & the U.S. Constitution and take the 8th grade Constitution Test.
