About Me:

This is my 21st year at Fulton Junior High.  During this time, I have primarily taught Life Science/Biology.  From 2005-2009, I was the technology teacher and building technology coordinator.  Besides teaching at Fulton, I am an adjunct instructor at McKendree University where I teach in the Masters in Education program.  Additionally, I am an instructor for the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy where I teach in the "Summers at IMSA" program.

I was born and raised in the area and my entire family are local educators, so I have very deep roots here and have a strong passion for education.  I am an avid swimmer and cyclist, huge scifi movie geek, voracious reader, music lover, foodie, coffee connoisseur, and am active in several community and non-profit organizations.  I have a 13-year-old son, Jack.
