Welcome to my website! 

My name is Candy Dori, and I'm a Kindergarten, 4th, and 5th grade Resource teacher at Hinchcliffe. I have a master's degree in education from McKendree University. I have a husband, Mike, and sons, Andrew and Jon. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, and watching scary movies. 

When a child is determined eligible for services in the resource program, they will be given instruction in the least restrictive environment with individualized goals in mind. Our routine, resources, or interventions may change to suit the needs of our students. One student may require instruction in the resource setting while another may need a little support in their regular education classroom. It's my goal to bridge the gap between each student and their grade level standards. Progress reports are sent home on a quarterly basis. The IEP team will ask you to meet once a year to go over the education plan. However, you may request an IEP meeting at any time. I'm also available to answer any questions you may have regarding our program or student progress.
