Mrs. Kim Gibson

Welcome to our class webpage! My name is Kim Gibson and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten again this year at Hinchcliffe Elementary.  The 2022-2023 school year is my 24th year teaching kindergarten.

My husband and I grew up in O'Fallon, graduating from OTHS. After high school, I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in elementary education. We currently live in O'Fallon with our two children, Kale (20) and Zoe (19). I am proud to be working and living in the community where I was raised. 

I look forward to a year of growth and discovery with a new group of students. My goal is to create a community of learners where each child feels respected, safe, and challenged.  Our class is a team!  As a team, we will work together to help each other learn and grow in our social/emotional and academic skills on a daily basis.
