Mrs. Pruett

Hello!  My name is Leslie Pruett.  I have been teaching in District 90 since 2005.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, and have been in 5th for 4 years.  It's my favorite!  I believe that each and every student is special and unique with many different learning levels and skills.  I alter my teaching as needed to reach all of those learners.  A goal in my class and the basis of my teaching is to support independence of students.  I teach them to ask questions, think, and be problem solvers.  This will assist them in their future learning.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy days at the lake with my husband Tim and sons, Joe and Jacob.  I love watching my boys play sports, reading and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals.  GO CARDS!
