3rd Grade Academic Coach/Cheerleader
I have been teaching 3rd Grade at Marie Schaefer Elementary since 2009. My career started in 2001, with Chicago Public Schools as a 3rd Grade teacher on the city's West Side. In District 90, I was hired in 2002 at Hinchcliffe Elementary: Cross-Categorical Kindergarten, K-1 Special Ed, and 5 years teaching 1st Grade. 2019 METC Conference Speaker, twice selected: "iCan Maximize My iPad" & "Superstar Students" iMovie on iPad. While completing my Master's Degree, I conducted a small study, "The Effects of Running on Attention and Behavior in Developmentally Delayed Students," presented at the 2003 IAHPERD Conference in Saint Charles, Illinois. I am a Whole Brain Teacher, Google Level 1 Certified Educator, and Apple Teacher.
Our library time will begin at 8:50a.m. on Monday mornings,
and our class would love to have volunteers during our 40-minute visit to assist with book selection and checkout. Thank you!
