Mrs. Romoser

Welcome to Second Grade!

I am Mrs. Romoser and I love teaching second grade here at Marie Schaefer! I live in Edwardsville with my husband, our baby Simon, and our dog Zoe. I enjoy spending time with family, playing pickleball, and eating Taco Bell. Lots and lots of Taco Bell!

I attended Greenville University where I majored in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education. Before coming to Marie Schaefer, I assisted in a Montessori school in Granite City and was a kindergarten teacher in North St. Louis. However, second grade brings me the most joy to guide!

I am grateful to be your child's teacher this year, and recognize that you will always be their first teacher. I believe in the teacher-parent team working together for the academic, social, and emotional growth of each child. I believe that successful teaching starts with a child understanding that they are loved for exactly who they are, and culminates with a child being equipped to contribute back to the communities in which they are apart of.
