Mrs. Alexi Cavins

Welcome to 2nd grade! 

Welcome to second grade! My name is Alexi Cavins and I am originally from O’Fallon. I actually attended Marie Schaefer when I was in sixth grade! This is my sixth year of teaching, but fourth year teaching at Marie Schaefer. Teaching in my hometown means so much to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to a community that has given me so much. In May of 2018, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from William Woods University. In December of 2020, I graduated with my Master's degree in teaching and technology, which I also obtained from William Woods.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending sporting events, traveling, and reading! 

I am eager to meet you and your child and get started on this new adventure. There will be lots of learning, growing, and laughing as we prepare for third grade!
