Preschool For All

Preschool For All students are enrolled in a Half Day Early Learning Classrooms.

Enrollment:  Please call the Preschool Office for an application and enrollment information.  

O'Fallon CCSD #90 has been awarded a grant through the Illinois State Board of Education for the Preschool For All program.  

Preschool For All is a state-funded Early Childhood Program for students ages three through five designated as at risk of academic failure because of their home and community environment, and are subject to such language, cultural, economic, and like disadvantages that they have been determined, as a result of a screening process, to be at risk of academic failure.  Examples include but not limited to:  free/reduced lunch for older siblings, public benefits or income based, health or medical needs, active duty military, developmental delays, English as second language, foster child, parent incarceration, unemployed or working multiple jobs to make ends meet, teen parent, low birth weight or premature birth.

Families interested in enrolling in the Preschool For All program may participate in a comprehensive screening process that includes registration paperwork with confidential family and demographic information, parental permission to participate in the program, proof of income documentation, child developmental screening, and a home language survey.  Other district required documents are included in the application packet once determined the child is eligible.  All information is held strictly confidential and is used for determining weighted at risk factors as well as for state reporting.  Families may qualify based on a variety of needs. 

Weighted eligibility is determined as part of the comprehensive screening process.  Children with the highest needs are placed first and enrollment filled according to those needs.  There is no cost for families to participate in Preschool For All.
